Having served as an administrator of residential programs for children with special needs for more than 35 years, Mr. Lavoie is probably best known for his award-winning videos, "How Difficult Can This Be?: The F.A.T. City Workshop" and "Last One Picked, First One Picked On: The Social Implications of Learning Disabilities." He currently serves as a consultant to the National Center for Learning Disabilities and as a respected educator, Mr. Lavoie has been given the honor of delivering Keynote Addresses for the three major special needs advocacy organizations in the United States " Learning Disabilities Association, Council for Exceptional Children and Children with Attention Deficit Disorder.
