WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.—Offering a unique one-to-one learning model tailored to each student’s individual academic and social needs, Fusion Academy & Learning Center Warner Center has officially opened its doors to welcome its inaugural class.
Located at 21650 Oxnard Street (Suite 100) in Woodland Hills, Fusion Academy is a new, alternative private school for students in grades 6-12. Modeled after the original Fusion Academy & Learning Center in San Diego, which was founded 20 years ago with the understanding that traditional school is not always the best option for every child, the Warner Center campus utilizes a “personalized learning” model to help students through a dynamic, one-to-one method of teaching and mentoring.
Along with its one teacher-one student approach, what separates Fusion Academy from other schools is its flexible scheduling, where students can pick and choose what time they have classroom instruction, and its Homework Café®, which encourages students to do their “homework” on school campus while receiving critical support from an educator. Fusion Academy also allows students to benefit from their Class for Credit program as well as the After School and Tutoring opportunities. The summer program offers a full range of academic courses as well as some unique enrichment activities.
A part of American Education Group’s growing network of customized private schools, Fusion Academy & Learning Center’s Warner Center campus includes a full mixed-media art studio, and a state-of-the-art music and recording studio. With campuses throughout Southern California, Fusion Academy is committed to meeting student needs on every level, which includes academically and emotionally, as well as socially.
