Krista is a driven business leader with a passion for education. Although the majority of her background is within the corporate business environment, she has spent a significant amount of time in the classroom as well. She has been very involved with Junior Achievement for over 10 years as both a Director and Treasurer for the South Central Region, and as a volunteer in high schools throughout Michigan. She has also taught accounting at Michigan State University and at Davenport College.
Krista holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and an MBA from Michigan State University. She is a licensed CPA and a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s.
Krista began her career with Arthur Andersen within the audit practice. She then joined Manatron – a publicly traded software company in Kalamazoo, MI – where she quickly rose to become one of the youngest CFO’s of a publicly traded company. At Manatron, she drove bottom line results and led the ultimate sale of the business to a private equity group.
Krista serves as a Director and Treasurer for the Western Michigan Chapter of Financial Executives International, and was previously President of this association. She is also Treasurer of several additional organizations.
In her free time, Krista enjoys spending time with her two children, Austin and Jordan, playing essentially any sport, and watching college football and basketball. She also enjoys volunteering within the community.
