The traditional standard classroom approach to education does not work for all kids. Many students cannot thrive in a classroom setting that expects every student to conform to a standard approach. AEG believes schools should adjust to student needs instead of forcing students to adapt to traditional practice in traditional models.

Mainstream public and private schools are generally unable to effectively meet the challenges of children with unique learning needs, issues, or desires. AEG’s strategic focus is to acquire and replicate prep school models that are dedicated to serving these children and their parents.

Our focus is in two areas that we believe have outstanding growth prospects:

1. Specialized college prep schools for students with specific issues, needs or desires such as students with:
• learning differences in reading, math, or writing
• emotional issues and anxiety issues
• difficulty with organization or study skills
• inconsistent motivation or achievement
• ADD/ADHD
2. Highly academic Pre-K schools that are superior educationally to the traditional day care model.

Today, we are acquiring schools in these areas that have unique opportunities to grow and, potentially, replicate. Over time, we will aggressively replicate the highest potential niche models and build them into national leaders in their competitive segment.

Parents with higher expectations want to do all they can to help their children succeed. When these parents have a child with a unique need, issue or talent that is not being properly addressed in a traditional setting, they aggressively seek out alternative schools that are customized to work effectively with their child’s situation. They are willing to make a financial investment in their child’s education to provide opportunities for greater levels of student enjoyment, commitment and achievement through a more customized, individualized and specialized approach.

We believe we are at the forefront of the future of private education. Unlike the “all things to all people” approach of traditional education, the common theme across all AEG schools will be a student-centric approach.
