Tampa Day School made a decision to partner with AEG because of the integrity and honesty of all the members of the AEG team. We were impressed when we first met them, but with each subsequent meeting, we felt more and more confident that they possessed not only the business expertise (based on their past track record) and sound financial backing, but also had a true passion for quality education. This was a great match for our passion for our own mission at TDS, and we felt that merging with them would only add to our successful thirty-eight year history.

Our experience since we partnered with AEG has not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Our staff and parents were very apprehensive about the partnership, and were fearful that it would mean changes in either the program or the staffing of the school. The AEG team was extremely sensitive and open with our staff and parents, and flew into town on several occasions just to address the questions/concerns. I was also somewhat apprehensive - it’s been MY school for a long time. I've made sincere commitments to students, parents, and staff based on a common mission and philosophy that I was not willing to compromise on for any reason. Since our partnership with AEG, it has been proven that there was no “hidden agenda.” The AEG team was sincere when they committed to wanting to help us continue to prosper and we can see that clearly now.

I’m most excited about the opportunity to partner with other private schools, to share “best practices”, and to be part of a group of schools nationwide that are totally committed to being excellent centers for learning, where, although diverse in their approaches, the passion for providing the most appropriate education for every child is always the highest priority. I envision thousands of years of teaching expertise being shared, and each school becoming even better for the combined focus. We are also excited that AEG has made a commitment to partner with us to duplicate our educational philosophy by establishing a similar school in another area of the country.

The difference we have experienced at TDS since partnering with AEG has been their phenomenal marketing efforts to get the story of the “heart” of Tampa Day School spread throughout the community. As a small private school with a unique focus on serving students who have struggled in more traditional school settings, most of our referrals have been through word-of-mouth. While that has served us well and we have not committed financial resources to marketing efforts, AEG has decided to “shout it from the rooftops” so we don’t miss the opportunity to serve any child who would benefit from our learning environment. AEG has also provided us with the opportunity to meet with the leaders from the other AEG partner schools on two occasions, and both times, I have walked away with new ideas, a re-energized commitment to my own school, and a deeper respect for the AEG way of doing things!

Little Sprouts felt AEG's values and guiding principles aligned very well with our organization. The proven success of Pete, Jeff, Jenny and Tom is the executive experience we would need to scale our vision and partner with an organization whose mission stands for what is best for the children and young adults of our nation.

Pete and his team have made themselves available to support the transition of Little Sprouts with AEG. They have had meetings with our families, teachers, management team and stakeholders. The experience has exceeded our expectations in regards to AEG’s ability to listen to the needs of our organization and collaborate on the most effective process to handle situations.
